DATE POSITION WILL BE VACANT: Immediately

SALARY: Determined by (NJ DCF) grant funding contract
JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide students with trauma informed short-term counseling to address the emotional and physical development issues that can impede student wellness, academic success and the ability to maintain healthy relationships. Provide preventative and supportive services to enhance protective factors that mitigate risks and strengthen healthy development. Maintain data for reporting purposes.
QUALIFICATIONS, MANDATORY:
1. Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology or Social Work
2. LSW, LAC
QUALIFICATIONS, DESIRED:
1. LCSW or LPC preferred
2. 3 years of experience as youth service worker
3. Strong knowledge of counseling competencies
4. Student-centered focus
5. Excellent planning skills
6. Familiarity with local supportive community
agencies
7. Experience working with adolescent population
8. Familiarity with educational and social services
Systems
9. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
