Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: Full Time; Monday to Friday; 9 AM to 5:30 PM
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Location: Corporate Office in Harleysville PA / work from home
Purpose of the Position:
To contact existing clients as needed and to trouble shoot potential issues with insurance plans or coverage. To answer client questions and arrange for Agent of Record contact when necessary. To create opportunity for cross selling of related supplemental health or life insurance products.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Answers questions and resolves issues based on phone calls (outbound and inbound)
- Triage member issues and engage with the correct resources to bring about a positive resolution/member experience.
- Documents and tracks contacts with members
- Guides the member through their plan benefits and policy procedures as well as having knowledge of resources to comply with any regulatory guidelines.
- Creates an emotional connection with our members by understanding and engaging the member to the fullest to champion for our members' best health
- Taking accountability to fully understand the members needs by building a trusting and caring relationship with the member. Anticipates customer needs.
- Provides the customer with related information to answer the unasked questions, e.g. additional plan details, benefit plan details, member self-service tools, etc.
Academic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. PA life/Health Insurance license or from the state resided in.
Work Experience & Skills:
1year minimum insurance sales experience. A phone sales background preferred. Clean criminal background for contracting.
