Medical Lab Scientist/Medical Lab Technician Blood Bank

Bonus:  $5000 after 90 days $5000 after 1 year

4-10s alternating weekends and holidays

Blood Bank/Transfusion Medicine is AABB Accredited. It supports Level 1 Trauma Centers for Adults and Pediatric patients as well as Transplant (solid organ and stem cell), Seidman Cancer Center Inpatient and Ambulatory Infusion Care, Apheresis Center, Sickle Cell Program, Maternal Fetal Medicine and multiple Intensive Care units.

    Performs high and moderate complexity testing with high degree of skill and proficiency.

    Follows all hospital policies and procedures consistently.

    Assists on projects and takes on additional tasks as needed under supervision

        Graduate cert MT/MLT  program;

        Bachelor degree in biological, chemical science with CLIA88 to perform complexity testing.

        ASCP or equivalent certification required, ASCP certification within 1 year from date of hire

        Ability to work multiple areas and or sites independently 3 or more, preferred
