The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical terminology and proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. Your role will be crucial in accurately documenting patient encounters in real-time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accompany physicians during patient visits, accurately transcribing all aspects of the consultation, including history, physical exams, diagnostic findings, and treatment plans.
- Enter data promptly into the EMR system, ensuring detailed and precise documentation of patient care.
- Understand and document complex medical information.
- Manage the flow of information by updating patient histories, medications, and other relevant health data.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and other privacy policies.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers to ensure clarity and accuracy in medical records.
- Engage in ongoing training and development to stay current with best practices in medical scribing.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Medical Scribe.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology.
- Proficiency in EMR systems and adeptness at learning new software.
