SalaryTake the next step in your healthcare career and join Fairfax Radiology Centers to work as a Medical Scheduler from our Business Office in Fairfax, VA. The position will be remote after the successful completion of a training period.
The position is Full-Time, Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
Schedule radiology exams accurately and efficiently by communicating professionally with patients, referring physician offices, insurance companies and FRC staff.
- Responsible for scheduling a variety of radiologic exams with patients and referring physician's practices in an accurate and professional manner.
- Requires excellent customer service skills; outstanding skills w computerized system(s); heavy call volume or Call Center experience; and administrative/telephone experience.
- Prefer prior medical, Call Center environment and/or preauthorization experience.
- Prefer prior experience with a Windows Based Scheduling Information Systems. Our Radiology Information system is mouse driven and uses color coded entries to book appointments.
- Work from home after a successful training period of several months
