Winchester Ob/Gyn has a full-time Scheduling Secretarial position available. Our office hours are 8:30 am – 5pm, Monday through Friday. No nights or Weekends.
We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic, team player to join our group. The right candidate will possess a positive attitude, and make patient care their top priority. A Scheduling Secretary is responsible to answer the phones lines for 2 Providers, schedule patient appointments, follow through with patient requests, as well as complete daily tasks/instructions given to you from providers. You must be a team player, be able to multi-task, and communicate well with patients and team members alike.
Knowledge or experience working in an OB/GYN or other specialty Medical Office, as well as working with Athena EMR is a plus, but willing to train the right candidate for the position. Knowledge of Health Insurance plans is also a plus.
To be successful, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining other office tasks. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. Ultimately, a Scheduling Secretaries duties and responsibilities are to assist established and new patients needs positively, and execute all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.
Hourly rate is based upon experience. Benefit package to include: 401K, Paid Holiday’s, and PTO - all offered after initial 90 days of employment.
