As a Sales and Marketing Account Executive you are responsible for consistent production of sales for the organization's services in a specific region. Maintaining a client base of existing customers and serve as a liaison between management and customers to resolve any customer issues. Provide ongoing support to the client base.
Essential Functions
Consistently generate new sales growth through prospecting and cold calling on potential customers.
Establish positive long-term client relations by maintaining and managing your customer base and their loyalty to you and the company.
Increase revenues by presenting new test information, up-selling and seeking out new sources of revenue from existing customers.
Maintain knowledge of competitive activity in assigned area and develop new methods of attaining customers.
Educate and train clients, research problems and coordinate solutions between the laboratory and client.
Work closely with the regional manager, the laboratory upper management and laboratory staff to identify client concerns and assist in the development and implementation of client retention strategies.
Monitor, evaluate, and report the level of client satisfaction and recommend appropriate corrective action as needed.
Requirements
BA/BS or equivalent experience considered.
2-3 years of proven outside sales experience in the medical arena. Preferably Laboratory sales.
Self motivated and driven to achieve sales targets and goals.
Knowledge of laboratory testing and competing products.
Confirmed ability to establish, maintain, and retain loyal relationships while successfully managing service requirements of clients.
Possess well-developed multi-tasking and organizational skills.
Energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making ability.
Computer proficiency in MS Office, Excel, e-mail and internet functions.
Must be able to travel within the coverage area and occasionally nationwide.
