We are looking for a Medical Records Clerk to join our team to assist with a managing and organizing medical records requests. The Medical Records Clerk performs tasks related to overall office operations including answering phones, filing, data entry, and assisting team with medical records requests. The ideal candidate is detail oriented and excellent organizational skills.
Education/ Licensures:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Preferably one year experience in medical office.
- Competent at Microsoft (i.e Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain medical records status in tracking spreadsheet
- Experience with CPR+ and Nextgen
- File patients medical records and medical records requests
- Data entry
- Complete clerical duties including answering phones, responding to emails, and processing medical records requests
- Performs other duties as required.
