Family Life Care is looking for an experienced Medical Records Specialistto join our team at a fast-paced and growing home health care company in Orange Park, Florida. The ideal candidate will have to have the following experience and approach:
Primary Job Duties:
· Maintain Medical Records in secured locations to assure confidentiality of patient information.
· Set up new patient clinical records
· File documentation in hardcopy patient charts in appropriate locations according to Family Life Care Policies and Procedures.
· Monitor check-in and check-out of patient charts by office and field staff.
· Assist staff in locating charts and documentation.
· Maintain Tracking System for Orders, Plans of Care, Resumptions of Care, Reassessments and Discharges
· Scan and file hard copy documents to EMR and Electronic Patient Files
· Fax documents to Physician Offices for Signature
· Print and Assemble Start of Care Packets
· Answers incoming calls
· Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:

- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
