SalaryJob Description: We are a Pediatric Neurology office in Nassau County seeking experienced receptionists/Front Office Support Staff at our Plainview office. We are seeking candidates who have exceptional customer service skills to greet, check-in, and assist our patients. Duties and responsibilities include:
- Greeting patients, Checking in and out
- Collecting copays and balances
- Answering phones
- Scheduling appointments
- Patient demographic entry
- Making sure waiting area and exam rooms are presentable
- Checking and/or obtaining medical authorizations for patients
- Filing
- Pulling Charts
Job Requirements: Knowledge of EHR systems. Knowledge of medical and medical insurance terminology. Current available shifts: 3-4 shifts per week. Monday-Thursday afternoon/evening shift. (Additional hours possible, also 1 Saturday day shift per month).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Experience:
- Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
- Computer skills: 3 years (Preferred)
- Medical office: 1 year (Required)
Ability to Relocate:
- Plainview, NY 11803: Relocate before starting work (Required)
