Medical Receptionist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients and visitors, managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and assisting with various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical office setting and possess strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner

- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar

- Verify patient information and update medical records in the system

- Collect patient co-pays and process payments

- Assist with insurance verification and billing procedures

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area

- Provide administrative support to medical staff as needed

- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience working as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role preferred

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- Familiarity with front desk operations in a medical office setting
