The right candidate for this role will:
- Welcome clients and parents in a courteous and professional manner
- Quickly answer or properly refer questions and issues
- Answer calls, arrange appointments and register clients, ensuring that all demographic information is accurate, including insurance information.
- Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling
- Ensuring availability of treatment information by retrieving and updating client records in EMR
- Verify accuracy of billing data and resolve any discrepancies.
- Coordinate insurance verification before client's first visit
- Perform pre-certification with insurance companies as needed.
- Collect payments at each client visit.
- Sending client invoices as needed
- Troubleshoot insurance denials in a timely manner.
- Maintaining office inventory and equipment by anticipating supply needs and fulfilling supply orders
- Create and complete spreadsheets to track client and scheduling data
- Provide administrative assistance to supervisors
- Obtaining signatures from clients on annual forms
- Laminating therapy materials as needed
- Light cleaning
- Other duties as assigned.
