Busy medical center has a part-time position available for organized, detail-oriented, multi-tasking individual with superior communication skills. Part-time position schedule: Must be able to work Every Saturday 8:00 am-4:00pm.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Positive First Impression: Offer a warm, professional welcome to patients, setting a positive tone for their visit. Create standout customer interactions to boost patient satisfaction.
- Patient Scheduling: Coordinate patient appointments with precision, managing scheduling, reminders, and follow-ups.
- Insurance Verification: Obtain and verify insurance information from patients, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Communicate with insurance providers to verify coverage and benefits. Assist patients in understanding their insurance coverage and financial responsibilities.
- General Administrative Duties: Determine and collect co-payments, deductibles, past due balances, and other patient financial responsibility and maintain and balance cash drawer.
- Office Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized area, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients. Regularly sanitize and disinfect common areas: bathrooms, counters, surfaces, and high-touch points, and support team with laundry tasks as needed. Monitor supplies and restock as needed.
- Team-Player: Work closely with healthcare professionals and fellow staff members to uphold our clinic’s commitment to excellent patient care and a positive working environment.
Qualifications:
- Ability to connect with people.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in office administration or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a front desk receptionist or in a similar customer service role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with professional and friendly phone etiquette.
- Ability to perform accurate data entry
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of insurance processes, including verification and claims submission.
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Basic knowledge of billing and financial processes.
- A genuine interest in health and wellness, with a desire to positively influence people's lives.
