Medical Receptionist

Located in Southwest Michigan, we are a FQHC providing quality health care to the uninsured and underinsured. Our mission is to provide compassionate healthcare to people in our communities.

We are seeking a new Medical Receptionist to join our team. Your role would be to perform a variety of clerical duties in the front office. Functions as a member of the health care team by processing medical record data.

What You Will Do

• Performs clerical tasks like: answering the phone, collecting new patient information, scheduling appointments, greeting and registering patients and checking out patients.
• Responsible for balancing daily charges and payments completing a batch slip. Responsible for preparing daily bank deposit. Each staff would be responsible for his/her own drawer.

What You Will Bring

Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience and the following skills:

• Ability to act as a team member
• Excellent reading, writing and mathematical skills
• Exceptional accuracy in data entry skills, writing, typing, filling and organizing.
• Ability to work independently of supervision

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.34 - $21.81 per hour
