Provide various administrative duties to assist the physicians and patients within the office.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Greeting patients as they arrive at the office.
2. Patient service oriented, ability to communicate well with patients and team members.
3. Answering the phones and sending messages through the office electronic medical record.
4. Collecting co-pays and other patient payments.
5. Scheduling appointments and oversee provider schedule.
6. Prepare charts and confirm insurance eligibility in advance for patient schedules.
7. Scan and file documents into electronic patient charts.
8. Assists in maintenance of supplies, waiting areas and work station.
9. Distribute daily mail accordingly.
10. Assists physicians as requested.
11. Compliant with HIPAA, NCPA’s Compliance Plan and Code of Conduct policies
12. Attend required courses as determined by Manager and attend required HIPAA and compliance seminars.
