Requirements:
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care

- Education: High school diploma (or GED or high school equivalence certificiate), college degree highly recommended.
Job Duties:
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
- Compile and record medical charts, progress notes, encounter forms, reports, or correspondences.
- Answer telephones/emails and direct to appropriate staff.
- Receive and route messages or documents, such as laboratory results, to appropriate staff.
- Evaluate importance of incoming telephone calls
- Greet visitors, ascertain purpose of visit, and direct them to appropriate staff.
- Maintain medical records, technical library, or correspondence files. Provide excellent customer service
- Operate office equipment, such as voice mail messaging systems, and use word processing, spreadsheet, or other software applications to prepare reports, invoices, financial statements, letters, case histories, or medical records.
- Transmit correspondence or medical records by mail, e-mail, or fax.
- Process account invoices with accuracy
- Process business or government forms
- Perform various clerical or administrative functions, such as ordering and maintaining an inventory of supplies.
- Clean treatment rooms between patient visits and keep the office clean and tidy
- Take the garbage out
- Other duties as assigned
