- Patient Interaction: Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner, answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to patient inquiries.
- Administrative Support: Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, and managing office correspondence. Maintain electronic medical records and ensure compliance with patient confidentiality regulations.
- Office Operations: Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the medical office, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the office space.
- Billing and Insurance: Assist in processing patient billing, insurance claims, and payments, as well as coordinating referrals and authorizations as necessary.
- Patient Education: Provide patients with basic information about treatments, services offered, and general office procedures.
- Light housekeeping
- Depending on shift, duties of opening/closing of the clinic.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a medical office setting or customer service role is preferred
- Familiarity with basic healthcare practices
- Proficiency in common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, electronic health records systems)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse range of patients and healthcare professionals
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
