Medical Office Assistant

We are an upcoming psychiatric and family practice.

We are seeking a Medical Office Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the practice running smoothly.

Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative and clinical tasks to support healthcare professionals
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist with procedures
- Take patient vital signs and record medical history
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare provider
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens
- Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medication instructions

Experience:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
- Experience working in a Medical Office or clinic setting preferred
- Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Part-time with potential for transition to full-time

Salary: From $15.00 - $17 per hour depending on experience

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
