Medical Labratory Director*
```Duties```
- Oversee and manage all laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and protocols
- Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures to ensure efficient and accurate testing processes
- Collaborate with scientific research teams to design and execute laboratory experiments and studies
- Monitor and analyze laboratory data, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results
- Maintain laboratory information management systems (LIMS) to track and manage samples, tests, and results
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to laboratory staff, assisting with troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Ensure adherence to FDA regulations and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
- Manage laboratory budgets, including procurement of equipment, supplies, and reagents
- Stay updated on advancements in laboratory technology, techniques, and methodologies
```Skills```
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and equipment
- Proficiency in microbiology and other relevant scientific disciplines
- Experience working in a research laboratory setting
- Familiarity with histology techniques and procedures
- In-depth understanding of FDA regulations related to laboratory testing
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and interpret results accurately
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in the use of laboratory information management systems (LIMS)
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to effectively manage a team
