Medical Front Office Associate

Prestigious Family Practice in Frisco is seeking a positive and well-rounded full-time Medical Front Office Associate. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working in a medical practice. The candidate must have excellent customer service skills as well as the ability to multi-task other Front Office responsibilities while working in a fast-paced, EMR/technology based work environment.

Job Responsibilities:

· Schedule patient appointments and triage telephone calls

· Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills a

· Greet & Check-In patients upon arrival

· Check-Out patients & schedule next appointment upon leaving

· Scanning important documents into patient’s chart

· Collect balances, co-pays, or co-insurance at check-out

· Responsible for posting and reconciling payments collected daily

Skills Required:

· Excellent telephone & patient interaction etiquette – Must be friendly and polite at all times

· Experience with multi-line telephone systems

· Ability to multi-task without becoming overwhelmed

· Excellent computer skills – (Experience with EMR systems is a plus+)

· Works well in fast-paced environment

· Takes direction & corrections from team leaders well

· Ability to cross-train in all areas of Front Office duties

· Team player who is willing to provide support where needed
