Medical Front Desk Receptionist

Established medical office on Hilton Head Island has an immediate opening for receptionist. This position is part time. Hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm M.T.W. 7:30 am to noon Thursday, but are subject to change. We are closed on Fridays. Must love dogs.

Pay is dependent on experience

Duties include:

• Patient check in/ out
• Scheduling appointments
• Greeting patients
• Collecting copays and entering payment into system
• Calling in prescriptions
• Medical records
• Paper charting and filing
• Collecting copays
• Answering multi lined phones
• Scheduling surgeries
• Other duties as needed
• Taking Vitals and recording in EHR
• Rooming the patient

Ideal candidate requirements:

• Dependability
• Professional appearance
• Prior medical office experience
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of EMR and medical terminology
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to follow through on assignments with minimal direction
• Team player

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
