Medical Front Desk

Responsibilities involve familiarity with scheduling, patient intake, collecting copays, deductibles, maintain patient accounts and electronic health records. The job includes calling insurance companies for obtaining insurance benefits, confirming # of visits allowed, amount of patient deductible and collecting copays as well as getting patient authorizations. Attention to detail is important and learn general understanding of multiple health insurances as well as schedule in computer based scheduling system. Position to include some cross-training in support of patient care by our Physical Therapists. Hours to be in the 25-37 hours a week.. No weekends. Paid vacation

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
