Medical Field Technician/Driver

Job Summary

The Driver/Field Technician plays a vital role in our daily operations and is responsible for transporting our 3-person team, which consists of a licensed physician, licensed speech-language pathologist, and field technician to perform swallowing diagnostic studies at area skilled nursing facilities and hospital. The Field Technician sets up and breaks down diagnostic equipment, prepares supplies for studies, as well as documenting during studies. This position requires critical thinking and attention to detail. In addition, the Field Technician interacts with clients on a daily basis and must possess a professional appearance and courteous demeanor.

We are seeking an individual for a full-time position !

Driver/Technician Job Responsibilities

· Transport team in company van safely to and from facilities

· Ability to operate GPS

· Push heavy diagnostic equipment

· Listen to dictation and fill in a note grid during study

· Operate a digital and/or dual recording equipment (e.g. DVD/VCR)

· Light maintenance and cleaning of vans and equipment

Required Qualifications

· Attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions for mixing food/ liquid used for study

· Ability to wear a 15lb x-ray vest and thyroid shield and stand intermittently while assisting during for approximately 10-15 minutes during study.

· Excellent vision, hearing, and verbal communication skills

· Experience with Microsoft Word & Excel preferred

· Professional appearance

· Must have a clean driving record and pass background check
