Insurance Fight Club is seeking a highly motivated, energetic Full-Time Medical Biller. This position is Monday-Friday, days. Medical billingAMBULANCE Service is required.

Billing Responsibilities:

• Review ambulance patient care reports and properly build claims with the appropriate charges, ICD10 codes and modifiers – ensuring accuracy and integrity of claims
• Obtain and verify patient demographic and insurance information
• Follow-up on unpaid claims timely while working effectively and efficiently
• Call insurance carriers with payment discrepancies
• Research and appeal denied claims, complete reviews where necessary
• Answer all patient and insurance inquiries timely and professionally
• Investigate credit balances and request refunds/retractions where necessary
• Work collaboratively with billing team members
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time efficiently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Appropriate HOME OFFICE / Workspace is required
• Stable internet service with an appropriate speed is required
• Provide cross-coverage within the department, when deemed necessary

Specific billing training is provided, but some AMBULANCE Medical Billing experience is preferred. This position comes with a flexible schedule, paid Holidays, up to 14 days PTO and your first year and professional development opportunities.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
