Billing Professionals With Administrative Experience
Location: In-Person Richmond Office
Virginia Family Services (VFS) is seeking a Medical Billing-Special Projects Specialist for our Administrative Department. The Medical Billing-Special Projects Specialist will submit claims for clinical services, follow up with Insurance Companies on any payments not received and assist with credentialing. This role is assigned projects to assist the flow of billing, insurance and credentialing.
The Medical Billing-Special Projects Specialist works within the Electronic Health Records System to process MEDICAL BILLING claims, resubmissions and follow up items. Communicates with management regarding billing, items needed and credentialing. Strong administrative skills required for organization, reports, and documentation.
EDUCATION & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma (or Equivalent)
- Some College/College Degree (Preferred)
- Minimum one (1) year of MEDICAL BILLING experience (behavioral health).
- Must meet all background check requirements.

- Knowledgeable and Proficient in personal computer operations skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
