SalaryAmerican Fork Vision Center is an established family eye clinic. We are in need of an experienced biller and A/R Specialist. Desired experience includes professional claims billing (CMS-1500/HCFA forms), but also a good grasp of optometry and vision billing is a major plus. Position is part-full time about 3-4 days a week. This position can either be worked from home or our office with flexible hours (as long as the workload is complete we don't care when you are working).
Desired qualifications:
- Recent experience with Medical Billing, A/R, insurance verification, or collections
- Interpreting EOBs for billing purposes, both for patient burdens and for insurance obligations
- Experience working with Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial payers
- Experience verifying insurance information, submitting claims, and appealing denied claims
- Ability to understand and assess CPT and ICD codes
- This position is on site in American Fork, Ut.
