As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Your responsibilities will include assisting healthcare professionals with patient examinations, performing vital signs measurements, administering medications, and providing medical administrative support.
```Responsibilities```
- Perform accurate and timely documentation of patient medical history, symptoms, and vital signs.
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers.
- Provide basic life support in emergency situations.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow.
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries in a professional manner.
- Handle medical records and ensure their accuracy and confidentiality.
- Checking In and Out Patients
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing patient concerns and ensuring their comfort.
```Qualifications```
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in a hospital or clinic setting.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and basic medical procedures.
- Proficiency in performing vital signs measurements (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, etc.).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic life support certification preferred.
