Medical Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various clinical tasks. Responsibilities:
- Perform vital signs measurements, including blood pressure, pulse rate, temperature, and respiratory rate
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and procedures, such as X-rays
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Provide basic life support in emergency situations
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment
- Educate patients on self-care techniques and medication instructions
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with medication administration procedures
- Ability to accurately perform vital signs measurements
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and other staff members

Pay: $19.72 - $25.00 per hour
