We're seeking an experienced Medical Assistant, particularly skilled with EKGs and passionate about patient care in a high-volume setting. This position initially covers a maternity leave but offers the potential for permanent employment based on performance and practice requirements.

Medical Assistant Responsibilities Include:

• Welcoming patients and guiding them through the visit process.
• Preparing patients for examinations, taking vital signs, and updating medical histories.
• Assisting physicians during medical procedures and with EKGs.
• Ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of patient EMRs.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in examination rooms and replenishing supplies.

Medical Assistant Qualifications:

• Formal Medical Assistant education and certification.
• Proficiency in EKGs and experience in a cardiology setting preferred.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs).
• The ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Current COVID-19 vaccinations and commitment to patient safety.
