Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant/Licensed Phlebotomist to join our Internal Medicine Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing both front and back office duties, as well as providing excellent phlebotomy services. The Medical Assistant/Licensed Phlebotomist will be responsible for taking vital signs, collecting patient history, preparing patients for examinations, and ensuring the efficient flow of patients through the clinic. The Medical Assistant/Licensed Phlebotomist will also be responsible for managing medical records and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Responsibilities:
- Perform both front and back office duties in an Internal Medicine Office
- Provide phlebotomy services to patients
- Take vital signs, collect patient history, and prepare patients for examinations
- Ensure the efficient flow of patients through the clinic
- Manage medical records and maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Current license as a phlebotomist
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant/Licensed Phlebotomist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
