Job Description
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Take and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and weight
· Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
· Document patient information in Epic EMR System
· Assist healthcare providers with examinations and treatments including drawing blood, collecting specimens, and performing EKGs
· Manage patient flow and ensure the patients are seen in a timely and efficient manner
· Manage Medical supply inventory and order supplies as needed
Job Requirements
· 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience in a medical office or clinical setting
· Medical Assistant Diploma
· Ability to work independently as well as with a team
· EMR experience highly preferred
· HS Diploma/GED Required
