Role Overview:
We are in the process of building a specialized per diem healthcare team dedicated to the growing and dynamic field of age-management medicine, an area that focuses on innovative approaches to promote health and longevity. Being a part of this team offers you the chance to work in various facilities, each with its own unique environment and patient needs, allowing you to broaden your experience and skills. The temporary nature of these assignments provides flexibility and diversity, enabling you to balance work with other commitments while still being part of a forward-thinking healthcare approach.
As a Medical Assistant on our team, you will assist with patient care management, execute administrative and clinical procedures, and perform managerial and supervisory functions as deemed necessary per facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician or nurse practitioner
- Collecting routine laboratory specimens and perform basic lab procedures as directed by the provider
- Perform vital signs
- Perform aseptic procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Performing venipunctures and nonintravenous injections
- Assist with the implementation of anti-aging/aesthetic/IV therapy/hormone treatments and protocols
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Provide information and support to patients regarding clinic services and administered therapies
- Ensure compliance with clinic policies and healthcare regulations
- Manage supplies and ensure treatment areas are stocked and clean
Qualifications:
- Certification from a certification program accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies, a national or state medical association, or an entity approved by the Florida medical board
- Previous experience in anti-aging, dermatology, lifestyle medicine, or a related field is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in clinical techniques and standard healthcare practices
- Organized, with an ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Strong commitment to patient care and confidentiality
