Medical Assistant - Family Medicine

Join the B&B Family Medicine team at our center in Yucca Valley, CA. We are hiring a full time Medical Assistant with Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm schedule. Our MAs play a pivotal role in collaborating with our clinical and operational team to provide exceptional care to a diverse patient population in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities:

• Ability to interact with patients, staff, and physicians in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Answer phones, greet incoming patients and visitors, patient registration and insurance verification, and collect co-pays.
• Strong clinical knowledge in Family Medicine
• Able to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the physical, emotional, and educational needs of patients.
• Advanced knowledge of current screening, diagnostic tools, and treatment options for patients.
• Obtain vital signs and report any abnormal findings to the physicians/APPs or nurses

Qualifications: 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, graduate of an accredited MA program, and bilingual highly preferred.
