High volume medical office seeking a Medical Assistant to be a part of our Dermatology team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to do the following:
- Work closely with another Medical Assistant to support the physician or physician assistant in our busy Dermatology Department with patient exams and in-office surgical procedures.
- Assist in producing and maintaining electronic health records.
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining rooms, equipment, and instruments as directed.
- Assist with paperwork for office and surgical patients, including – but not limited to – verification of benefits and eligibility, prior authorization, referrals, scheduling, etc.
- A minimum of two years of medical assisting experience, preferably in a dermatology environment.
- Attach resume showing medical assisting experience. Knowledge of Nevada insurance plans is a plus.
Pre-employment drug screen is required.
