Medical Assistant (Cma) - Coastal Float Pool

Coastal float position - opportunity to work in Lincoln City and Newport area primary care and specialty clinics. This per diem position will work various shifts to provide coverage. The position will receive a per diem differential and other appropriate differentials due to the needs of the Float Pool/Resource Team.

• JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
  
  • Assists practitioner in performance of procedures, telephone prescription orders/refills, maintaining patient records and relaying test results.

• EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
  
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Registered or Certified Medical Assistant (RMA or CMA) required.
  • Healthcare Provider BLS required.
  • Previous medical back office experience/Medical Assistant training, or completion of a MA/CMA program preferred.
  • Experience in applicable specialty area preferred.
  • Lab/EKG experience preferred.
