We are looking for a Medical Assistant with experience in cardiology to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with minor procedures. The Medical Assistant will also be responsible for maintaining patient records, scheduling appointments, and providing support to the medical staff. Responsibilities:
- Assist cardiologists with patient care.
- Perform patient assessments and record vital signs.
- Administer medications as prescribed by the physician.
- Perform electrocardiograms (ECGs).
- Assist with minor procedures such as suturing and dressing changes.
- Assist with diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms and stress tests.
- Schedule appointments and maintain patient records.
- Float with assist in all departments : Front office , Back office and phone operator.
- Travel to El Cajon office ever other week for 1 day out of the week .
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
