Seeking a full time Medical Assistant & Patient Coordinator - Monday-Friday, no nights, no weekends and no overtime necessary.

This job is a hybrid role with three days a week in LaSara Medical Group's San Diego office and two days a week working from home.

This two part role includes:

While in the office, you will be responsible for providing shockwave treatments (SWT) to our patients who are experiencing erectile dysfunction and other sexual health dysfunctions. SWT is a hands on treatment that is non-invasive and an easy to learn medical treatment.

While working from home, you will be supporting our national telehealth coverage of testosterone replacement therapy and weight loss patients. This will include taking patient calls, addressing common questions, submitting refills of prescriptions, and back office management of patients.

What's the office and environment like?

LaSara Medical's San Diego office is a shared medical space with two other practitioners and their staff of 12-15 individuals. On the days you will be in office, you will be the only LaSara employee on site. The owner of the company also comes into the San Diego office when he is not working in the other office locations. The office is quiet and professional.

Working from home?

If working from home is not suitable for your living situation, you are able to come into the office on these days.

Medical and Business responsibilities:

• Must have hands on patient care experience as you will be the primary interface with our patients for shockwave therapy
• Provide shockwave treatment to patients
• Personality and professionalism is everything, must be confident in your ability to communicate with patients and ensure their decision to treat their sexual dysfunction
• Maintain punctual patient treatment schedule
• Customer service - be able to handle patient calls professionally
• Manage and document patient charts thoroughly
• Patient education for various treatment protocols including weight loss, hormone replacement therapy, and shockwave therapy
• Take inbound phone calls and text messages from patients, process blood test orders to Quest, submit patient prescriptions
• Ability to work autonomously and without a manager in person with you

Required license/certification/education:

• Medical Assistant
• Phlebotomist - not required, but nice to have
• High school diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.50 - $26.00 per hour
