- As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support the doctor and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.
Responsibilities
- General Medical Assistant duties: patient intake, drawing injections, suture/staple removals, basic wound care, and supplies, casting, splints
- Organize and schedule appointments and procedures
- Update medical history and medications
- Assist during medical examinations
- Use electronic medical record system to answer patient questions and send the physician tasks
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
- Help any patient that needs help in or out of their car.
- Lift and maneuver patients as needed to obtain images.
- Upload CD’s that patients bring in for their appointment.
- Room patients, help taking splint off, casting as needed. (Experience preferred but will train if needed)
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Skills
- Proven working experience as a Medical Assistant or medical secretary
- Bilingual (Spanish)
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
