Welcome to our beautifully renovated, modern and paperless Family Medicine office. Dr. Barseghian has been in practice for over 20 years. We have been a local Pasadena Family medicine practice for many years with a wonderful following of patients. We pride ourselves on a friendly, fun, and supportive workplace with only weekday 9-5 hours as 3 hour morning and 3.5 hour afternoon shifts. The ideal candidate to join our team should be professional, reliable and motivated. It's definitely a plus if they also have an eye for detail and are organized. Most of all, it's for someone who is interested in working in a small office, but in making a big difference for our patients.

Front Office/Back Office Duties (include but not limited to):

• Vital and room patients
• Schedule appointment using EMR
• Place electronic lab and imaging orders
• EKG
• Injections
• Clean/ sanitize exam rooms
• Answer phones
• Insurance Verification
• scanning/ faxing
• Prescription Refills
• Prior auths
• Respond to patient calls and messages
• Confirming and ordering inventory
• Sterilizing equipment (rarely)

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $18.00 to $22.00 /hour

Experience:

• Medical Assistant: 1 year (Preferred)
• EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
• medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)

License:

• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our private practice team. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting medical administrative tasks. Responsibilities:
- Perform patient care duties, including taking vital signs, collecting patient history, and preparing patients for examinations
- Assist healthcare provider with medical procedures and treatments
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare provider
- Conduct basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing
- Assist with medical coding and documentation
- Provide medical administrative support, such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling insurance forms
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and equipment
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information

Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
- Proficient in medical terminology and coding
- Knowledge of basic life support (BLS) procedures
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for providing exceptional patient service
- Attention to detail and accuracy in performing clinical tasks
