Medical Assistant

We are a family medicine office that is seeking to hire an experienced Medical Assistant who is motivated, dependable, and a team player. We are looking for someone to add to our friendly and welcoming office environment.

Duties include:

Rooming patients, returning patient calls, injections, and EKG. Applicants should be knowledgeable with medical terminology, prepare medical charts in advance, have the ability to communicate with patients kindly and patiently, be able to document information into EMR, and answer phones.

Must have experience.

Primary Responsibilities

• Take patients vitals
• Assist with phone calls and scheduling appointments
• Preform EKGs & other office procedures
• Preparation of medical charts in advance

Skills

• Proven working experience as a Medical Assistant or medical secretary
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
