Our clinic is seeking a full-time front Office Medical Assistant to add to our team. This position is for someone who is passionate about patient care and willing to learn. This position is available for immediate start.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients.
- Schedule appointments, create charts, and record information while following HIPPA.
- Answer phones and direct calls to the correct department
- Assist with medical office services and procedures such as vital signs, blood sugar, and weight check.
- No blood draw needed
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistance certification
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Work setting:
- Clinic
- Medical office
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Medical Assisting: 1 year (Preferred), Entry level ok
License/Certification:
- CCMA Certification (Preferred)
- Driver's License (Required)
- CPR Certification (Required)
- Spanish speaking (preferred)
