About the Role:
As a Medical Assistant in our cardiovascular office, you will play a vital role in supporting our physicians and delivering exceptional patient care. You will have the opportunity to:
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Perform vital signs checks and record medical histories
- Assist with administering medications and drawing blood
- Educate patients about their condition and treatment options
- Maintain patient charts and medical records
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments and answering phones
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) preferred
- Prior experience in a clinical setting is helpful.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
