As a Medical Assistant (Front office) some back office you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Interview patients and document basic medical history
- Social Media Post / Videos
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Update and file medical records and insurance reports
- Arrange hospital admissions and laboratory services
- Check with patients and type up patients charts
- Assist during medical examinations
- Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Handle receivable and payable accounts and keep financial records
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
- Welcome patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
- Confirm/Request authorizations for appointments
- Coordinating patient referrals from referring physician’s offices.
- Schedule and confirm patient diagnostic appointments, and medical consultations.
- Compile and record medical charts, reports, and correspondence.
- Maintain and reorder medical supplies.
- Verify insurance.
- Experience with computers, such as Microsoft Word.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record software (office Ally)
- Must dress professionally on a daily basis.
Skills
- Up selling Aesthetic /laser treatments a must.
- Ability to stay motivated, friendly ,enthusiastic, and solution-oriented in challenging situations.
- Proven working experience as a Medical Assistant or medical secretary
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
