Medical Administrative Assistant/Acu-Herbalist Assistant

Job description

Part-time, full-time position available to assist Licensed Acupuncturist/Herbalist and Naturopathic physician in busy alternative care medical facility. Office Reception/Administration or Medical Administrative Assistant experience helpful. Interest in Naturopathic and Chinese Medicine helpful. This is an alternative medical care facility with emphasis on general naturopathic medicine and fertility acupuncture.

General duties:

- checking patients in/out

- preparing/disinfecting treatment rooms

- pulling prescription herbal and natural medicines

- preparing and charting patient files

- inventory, upkeeping and ordering herbal medicines

- scheduling appointments

- very light bookkeeping

- light telephone work

- all clerical and general office duties

- office administration and clerical support

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 19 – 40 per week
