Medical Administrative Assistant

Medical Clinic Inc. is an Internal Medicine and Allergy Clinic with six providers across our offices in Honolulu, Kailua, and Aiea.

Looking to add organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistants with a passion for healthcare to our team. Candidates will be assigned to one main office location, but may occasionally need to cover other locations. Must be comfortable using a computer. This position is particularly suited for individuals interested in becoming medical providers.

Duties include:

• Front desk: Answer telephone calls, check-in patients, schedule appointments, and follow-up on no-shows.

• Obtain/verify patients’ medical history, vital signs, medication dosage and frequency, allergies, and insurance

• Prepare charts and enter prescriptions into electronic medical record

• Communicate urgent concerns or patient care issues

• Check/maintain inventory of supplies. Prepare rooms, including sanitizing high-touch surfaces and stocking supplies.

Qualifications:

• Able to drive/bus to different office locations (as needed)

• Comfortable using a computer (typing and using a mouse)

• COVID-19 vaccination (at least two doses)

• Passion for healthcare

Preferred Qualification(s):

• College/university graduate

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Pay: [Starting] $17.00 - $20.00 per hour (depending on experience)

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

• One Saturday per month, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
