Working in the appeals call center by assisting appellants with their appeals for Medicaid and Cover Kids health insurance
§ Currently working in inbound and outbound calls in the call center
§ Guiding the caller through the appeal process and making sure they are either approved or denied for Medicaid
§ Working in a fast-paced environment
§ Multi-tasking through 7 screens with data entry with different while on the phone with the caller
§ Making about 30 to 50 calls inbound and outbound answering questions about medical
coverage The callers are sometimes difficult, but we are trained not to take it personal
§ This position also requires accurate data entry, customer service, and using the phone constantly.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
