Cloud Engineering

Software Engineering/Media Solutions

Including media technology consulting, Media Systems planning and design, media software solutions, media facility planning and design and Media Systems implementation.

As a consultant, you'll work with diverse global clients across a wide range of industries. You will have a variety of client-facing responsibilities such as diagnosing issues using advanced analytical techniques, interviewing staff, formulating, and making recommendations, and helping clients implement proposed solutions.

Qualifications

Required

• 3+ years of overall experience in media industry system design, build, and deployment.
• 3+ years of experience in network, video (HD-SDI & 4K), digital audio, and control systems.
• 3+ Knowledge in infrastructure fiber installation.
• 2+ years of general knowledge in A&E/MEP space planning, electrical, and HVAC practices.
• 2+ years of general knowledge in implementation of media cloud infrastructure and technologies.
• 3+ years of experience with AutoCAD.
• Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Limited Sponsorship maybe available.

Preferred

• NMOS IS-04/05 communication protocols.
• 2+ years of Knowledge with SMPTE 2110 standards and practices.
• Experience with Microsoft Visio.
• Experience with NetBox.
• IPAM/DCIM database platforms.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking and analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity.
• Demonstrated ability to employ research and reporting skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, MS Word)
• BS Electrical Engineering degree preferred.

Responsibilities include:

• Engineering equipment specification and selection.
• Technical conceptualization, design, documentation, and run listing.
• Attend and/or conduct client design reviews.
• System configuration, test & commission activities (including vendor related deployment).
• As built and final documentation delivery.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $97,875 to $163,125.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance
