The Media Resource Manager is responsible for coordinating internal and external labor needs and schedules, intake though invoicing executing the fulfillment for day rate freelance labor production resources.
What will you be doing?
- The Media Resource Manager role receives requests, gathers requirements, sources freelancer roles based on skill and project requirements.
- Open Communication and managing expectations, keeping accurate and detailed project notes, developing and maintaining schedules, and performing timely data entry and scheduling tasks is major part of this role.
- Work directly with Engineering, Sales and Clients to understand and explain process of engagement through billing.
- This role will help develop standard operating processes and support the development of the service, working with all parts of the organization to provide seamless experience for the end users.
- Managing logistics of production schedule, directing resources to location with proper credentials.
- Working with certified Partners, Drafting contracts with external freelancers and vendors, approving payments post-completion
- Maintaining Master Resource List and price guide.
- Weekly/Monthly reporting on project metrics
What do we require from you?
Education/Certifications:
- Degree in related, Communications, Media, Live Events, Broadcast Production or Relative preferred.
- Industry Certifications in Media, Event Planning, Project Management preferred.
- 2-3 years' experience in a customer service/client facing role.
- 2-3 years video project management experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and accommodate frequent changes in requests.
- Attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Experience with financial record keeping/balancing budget.
- Familiarity with creative services contracting language and terms.
Skills and Experience:
- Understanding of Video and Media Production / Studio Operations.
- Experience scoping resource needs for video studio operations and production.
- Familiarity with project management and scheduling software (Outlook, Sharepoint, Smartsheet) and Familiarity with Excel.
- Experience developing standard operating procedures.
- Drafting SOW/Contracts and Invoicing.
- Maintain professional standards of customer service and business communication.
Required/Desired Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
- This is a fully remote position that we expect to require 40 hours per week.
- Familiarity with contracts, writing scope of work and hiring.
- You should have a quality internet service for video calls.
- Understanding of all aspects of live video production.
- Ability to judge creative concepts and copy, and clearly receive and communicate creative direction to/from others.
- Excellent organizational skills, communication, planning, time-management, and follow-through skills
