Our client located in Vista is looking for an HR Manager. This is a great opportunity with a stable company that provides excellent pay and benefits, this position will be 100% ONSITE. Direct Hire position offering $90K.
Job Responsibilities
- Designs and implements employee recruitment and selection strategies, processes and programs; participates in outreach recruitment programs to obtain qualified candidates.
- Drafts job announcements and other recruitment materials; develops and administers job-related selection procedures; schedules and conducts interviews of potential candidates.
- Offers positions to candidates; fields and resolves candidate questions, complaints and appeals.
- Research best practices and recommends changes to recruitment processes to streamline recruitment and selection processes.
- Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations and guidelines and management adherence to established labor contracts, policies and procedures.
- Conducts position classification and compensation studies; audits and prepares new or modified job analysis documents, class specifications and class concepts; recommends the classification of new or modified positions, classes and class series.
- Interprets policies, procedures, regulations and labor contract provisions for managers, staff and the public; provides guidance and assistance to management and employees on a wide variety of human resources issues and concerns; responds to requests for various human resource and benefit information.
- Assists in the development of strategies for meeting department human resources challenges; assesses and recommends plans to meet short and long-term strategic needs.
- Attends and participates in meetings, conferences and training sessions; provides expertise, information and assistance to management, staff, parents, outside groups and individuals. Conducts a variety of special projects, and performs related duties as assigned/directed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, human resources.
- 3-years of human resource management experience
- Federal, state and local laws, regulations and court decisions applicable to the administration of human resource programs and employee relations practices.
- Principles and practices of employee and labor relations, including negotiations and contract administration practices.
- Human Resource Information Systems and automated reporting capabilities; operation of standard business computer software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and the Internet.
