Mechanical Superintendent

Shimmick is seeking a highly talented Mechanical Superintendent  based out of Lake Elsinore, CA.  This challenging position will provide an excellent growth opportunity while improving the infrastructure of the city.

Southwest Division

Shimmick's Southwest Division, headquartered in Irvine, California, focuses on large public owners in Southern California, across water resources, water treatment, transportation and transit markets. Over the past decade, the division has grown tremendously, securing major projects, including the $350 million North City Pure Water Facility in San Diego at the $200 million Groundwater Replenishment System in Orange County.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

• Provide overall on-site administrative and technical management for a wide range of construction proje Finish cts.
• Responsible for the organization and direction of construction and related activities within assigned area of responsibility, which may be a single area, multi-area or a multi-discipline construction project.
• May be the primary client contact for all jobsite day to day activities, or may coordinate with client's resident representatives on jobsite activities within assigned area of operations.
• Responsibilities are to ensure assigned jobsite operations are in compliance with design/specifications, completion on schedule, within budget and to quality standards.
• Interfaces with all other administrative field staff, field management staff and particularly the Project Manager in a coordinated effort.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree + 10 years of relevant experience or AA/AS (US) + 12 years of relevant experience or High School Diploma/GED + 14 years of relevent experience

The salary range for this position is between $125,205 - $231,630 per year depending on experience and/or education.

These benefits are available to all employees working more than 20 hours per week. Employees working less than 20 hours per week are eligible for medical, dental and vision coverage as well as EAP services.
